The chess pieces and board are made from teak and mahogany timber
Each board measures about 50cm x 50cm x 6cm when flat and folds in
half to form an elegant storage box when the set is not in use
The inside of the board is lined with silk and the board is finished with
brass fittings . The chess pieces are felted and , due to
the density of the wood , have a lovely "heavy" feel
